"Children have natural curiosity and great imaginations. Give a child a stick to play with and it becomes a sword, a magic wand, a horse, or any one of a number of other things.
Good books foster children's imaginations to the point where the reader dives in and becomes the hero.
I wanted to write the kind of adventure that grabs the reader on page one and fuels their imagination right through to the last page." - Graham Simpson
"I created Captain Red after looking back to the adventure books and heroes I encountered during my childhood.
These included "Treasure Island", "Kidnapped", "Robinson Crusoe", "Tom Sawyer", "Robin Hood" and who could forget "The Lone Ranger". (Don't tell anyone; I'm still a member of "The Lone Ranger" club)." - Graham Simpson
